The behavior of less-disciplined motorcyclists and ignoring the safety of driving increases the number of traffic accidents in Jakarta. One of the causes of frequent reported traffic accidents is aggressive driving. Traffic congestion that puts pressure on motorcyclists becomes a challenge that must be faced in order to get out of the condition by doing coping, both problem focused coping or emotion focused coping. In conditions of traffic density, motorcyclists justify unethical behavior called moral disengagement. Both variables are coping and moral disengagement can lead to aggressive driving. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of coping and moral disengagement on motorcycle riders in DKI Jakarta.
