This book will also be a useful review reference for practicing engineers preparing for the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) examinations. It is expected to have a long and sustainable tenure in the market in a manner similar to the machinery handbook which has undergone multiple editions. The modular layout and sectioning of the book will permit additions and expansions as new calculations emerge from research and practice of industrial engineering. As this is the first effort at compiling a specific handbook of industrial engineering equations, we expect the compilation to grow and improve over time.
