ABSTRACT
MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) in Indonesia grew rapidly as marked by a lot of companies that have a business license in this sector, as well as the large number of international scale exhibition place and the establishment of 16 tourist destinations.
The phenomenon of business industries MICE is followed by employee turnover and high levels of employee’s intention to move on company is something that could not be avoided, therefore a company needs to manage and pay particular attention, so that this situation does not occur and that can be avoided.
The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of workload and empowerment of employees against work stress and job satisfaction as well as their impact of turnover intention to move work either partially or simultaneously among MICE Industry employees in Jakarta and its surrounding areas.
Research methodology used in this research is descriptive analysis with the amount of respondents 213 were eligible respondents to the research, dissemination of the questionnaire helped by HR & GA of company that is engaged in MICE Industry by as much as 71 companies that have already certified their employees at the Institute Professional Certification (LSP MICE), the location of the company spread in Jabodetabek . As for data processing with LISREL program Version 8.80.
The research results described the workload do not affect significantly to turnover intention of MICE industry employees, employees empowerment do not effect significantly to turnover intention of MICE industry employees, job satisfaction is proven significantly affect to turnover intention of MICE industry employees, job stress do not affect significantly to turnover intention of MICE industry employees, work load do not affect significantly to job satisfaction of MICE industry employees, empowerment employees is proven significantly affect to job stress of MICE industry employees, work load do not affect significantly to job stress of MICE industry employees, employees empowerment is proven affect significantly to job satisfaction of MICE industry employees, job stress do not affect significantly to job satisfaction of MICE industry employees.
Research implications or limitations; cross sectional design is the obvious limitations of the research. Other limitations is related to generalize from the findings of the research out of context where the research was conducted.
