The main objective of this book is to describe in some detail the Islamic perspective on psychology, mental health and well-being. While philosophers, scientists and researchers throughout the ages have attempted to understand the true nature of humankind, we find that the most pricise, detailed and comprehensive explanation of psychology is in the Qur'an and the Hadith (the collected statements and actions of Prophet Muhammad). Our Creator knows us better than we know ourselves, and His knowledge encompasses much that we will never be able to grasp. The exposition of our own human nature must be built upon what our Lord has revealed to us through His Prophet Muhammad.
