Establishing Jakarta as one of the Green Cities of Jakarta Megacity (Jabodetabek) and Asian Megacities can be done through expansion of the policy mindset to land use-cover change in the presenct cities artifacts in the surrounding Jakarta. The new concept includes an ‘architecture way of finding’ in city scale to contribute to the megacity in order to achieve Jakarta Green City. The concept emphasizes how to improve the potential use of the cities’ artifacts ie; the 'back side' of the outdoor advertisement construction, the pedestal of cities’ sculptures and the structure overpass structures, and also the façade of the buildings. The potential of them are needed to be explored since the creative ideas that integrates Governor’s policies include the environmental graphic design as a part of megacity plan. The ideas do not only function as city beautification, but also the effects are potential toward the Jakarta Green City. Referring to the Grounded Theory in phenomenological investigation on Jakarta during 2000-2013, it was found that the importance of this idea links to the rules of landscape management, the advertise companies and artists who creates their work. The main problem is the separation of science in graphic design with the landscape architecture and architect urban design. The problem is caused by the disparity of the sciences to governor’s policy formulation. To clear the constraints, collaboration between the professions is needed.
