ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of good corporate governance, return on assets, debt to equity ratio and firm size in firm value on basic Industrial and Chemical manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The variables used are the dependent variable and the independent variable. The dependent variable is the firm value. The independent variable is the good corporate governance, return on assets, debt to equity ratio and firm size. The population of this study are all basic Industrial and Chemical manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2015-2017. The sample of this study amounted to 39 samples determined using the purposive sampling method. The analytical method used is panel data regression analysis with rock Eviews software. The results show that debt to equity ratio have a effect on firm value, firm size have a effect on firm value, while the good corporate governance and return on assets does not affect firm value.
