ABSTRACT

This study aims to find the total cost efficient inventory to supply Pandan Wangi rice 50 kg at the Rice Shop Budi Daya, in the region of street Dewi Sartika No.80, Cibogor, Central Bogor, a company engaged in the sale of rice. To collect the data required in this research, conducted by direct observation or interview and literature study. The method used in this research is quantittative descriptive case study approach. The analytical tool used to find cost efficient inventory is by using Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) by comparing the control techniques performed by company through calculation unit booking, reservation frequency and the total cost of inventory. These results indicate the control rice in 2015 to 2017 by using Economic Order Quantity is more efficient when compared with control engineering company with a different for the year 2015 amounting to Rp 11.074.000, 2016 amounted to Rp 10.960.487, and 2017 amounted to Rp 12.179.375.
