Disertasi Ilmu Ekonomi: PENGARUH BUDAYA ORGANISASI KEPUASAN KERJA, MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI DAN KOMITMEN ORGANISASI TERHADAP KINERJA DOSEN STIE DI JAKARTA



ABSTRACT

Assessment of the performance of lecturers at the Graduate Schools of Economics (STIE) is needed to see how well the poor performance of lecturers in carrying out all activities in the learning process. Performance appraisal is a measure of each individual's contribution to organizational quality improvement. The purpose of research, to analyze the influence of Organizational Culture, Job Satisfaction, Achievement Motivation and Organizational Commitment to the Performance of STIE Lecturers in Jakarta. The research design used is descriptive design to explain the relationship between variables. The study was conducted with a sample of 202 certified permanent lecturers at 35 Graduate Schools of Economics (STIE) in Jakarta. Primary data from questionnaires by respondents were analyzed using SPSS software and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis, as well as Lisrel software. The research findings state that: 1) Organizational culture has no effect on Performance; 2) Organizational culture affects Job Satisfaction; 3) Organizational culture has an effect on Achievement Motivation; 4) Organizational culture has an effect on Organizational Commitment; 5) Job Satisfaction has no significant effect on Lecturer Performance; 6) Job satisfaction does not affect the Organizational Commitment; 7) Organizational Commitment Affects Performance; 8) Achievement Motivation Affects Performance; and 9) Achievement Motivation influence to Job Satisfaction, and 10) based on descriptive analysis indicate that the level of lecturer's assessment on job satisfaction, achievement motivation, organizational commitment, and performance is still low. The conclusion of the research stated that Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment, and Achievement Motivation need to be improved because it influences to Lecturer Performance, so it has positive impact to STIE quality improvement it self.
