THE ROLE OF INDIVIDUAL CHARACTERISTICS AND JOB SATISFACTION ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE

In the current era of globalization, human resource issues are the focus and foundation for companies to survive. Because human resources are the main role in every company activity. For this reason, a company must produce quality human resources to carry out its duties for the progress of the company. This study aims to identify the extent to which individual characteristics, and job satisfaction on the performance of PT TIRTA MURNI SERTIFIKASI Depok City employees.
The results of this study have two variables, namely the independent (individual characteristics and job satisfaction) and the dependent variable (employee performance). The data analysis method used is SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) Software. The results of the study stated that the variable job satisfaction has a positive influence on improving employee performance. Other results of this study reveal that individual characteristics do not affect employee performance, with an R2 result of 45.8%.
This study is expected to provide practical implications in optimizing the role of performance improvement for employees.
