Skripsi: Analisa Keselamatan Transportasi Laut Pada Pelabuhan Terminal Kijang Studi Kasus: Bongkar Muat
Kijing Terminal Port, is a port located in Mempawah Regency, West Kalimantan, Indonesia.
The port was developed by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II as a foreign port to support economic
development in West Kalimantan. Kijing Terminal Port is a development of Pontianak Port,
which is one of the National Strategic Projects (PSN). Kijing Terminal Port is projected to
become the largest port area in Kalimantan, and will become one of the hub ports in
Indonesia. The area of this port reaches 200 hectares, including the terminal area on the sea
side, trestle along 3.5 kilometers, as well as office areas and other port support facilities on
the land side. As a hub port, Kijing Terminal Port is designed to be able to serve large
container ships with a capacity of over 10 thousand TEUs. The container terminal itself was
built with a capacity of 2 million TEUs per year. Later the Kijing Terminal Port will be
integrated with the Special Economic Zone, which is expected to support the acceleration of
economic growth, especially in West Kalimantan. raising and lowering people or goods, as
well as changing modes of transportation. The problem in this research is safety in the field
of sea transportation at the Kijing Terminal Port. With its role as a driver of economic
growth, it is hoped that the smooth movement of passengers and goods can take place
effectively and efficiently. Sea transportation research at Kijing Terminal Port was
conducted to analyze safety in the loading and unloading activities of palm oil derivative
commodities. The expected result of this research is to be able to inventory safety standards
at Kijing Terminal Port so that recommendations can be formulated to prevent accidents in
the future.
